safaris-overview

Safaris

For many a safari is the number one reason to travel to Africa. Most people include at least a couple of nights on safari and even more will dedicate the entire holiday to safari.

Some countries – such as Zambia and Botswana - are really all about safari and unless combined with another country, this will often be the sole intention of visiting. The enthusiastic safari goer will often move around, staying in several different Parks or Reserves which offer contrasting habitats and activities, and often a diversity of species. The different types of safari can be narrowed down even further into several categories and this is where our expertise can serve as a guide to the right safari for individual requirements.

A safari can literally be staying 3 nights in a permanent camp in South Africa or Kenya, or a full-on 14 day safari combining several different areas or even countries. What we have tried to do here is describe the different types of safari to help identify what best suits individual preferences.
